uh well id say you could try to arrange a time when you to can have some time to talk and just explain yourself to him and if he understands then he loved you and ull get back together if he doesnt understand and just blows off everything you say then he wasnt right for you and you honestly should just move on.
Has anyone gotten their interests back, such as interest in a girlfriend, back after losing it to depression?
I feel like crap, One day I was completely in love with my girlfriend.
Then i got sick with depression probably due to my mom, shes had depression. Its just hard. Ive lost motivation to do just about everything.Will it ever give in?
Will I ever get my interests back?
Please help!

I suffered from anxiety and depression for a few years. I finally sought help. I don’t need the meds for depression anymore. Every few years I’ll have a bout with it, and will go back on the meds, but as I’ve gotten older it’s happened less and less. I still have anxiety problems from time to time.
You will get your interests back. It takes time, and it doesn’t happen right away. You may even develop new interests, and start to have good days again. Studies have shown that depression is hereditary, and it’s good that you recognize your mom’s illness.
You will need to seek treatment if you haven’t already.
A word about relationships: usually the first thing to go to down the drain where depression is concerned, and if the other person thinks of mental illness as a weakness and not a disease, you probably don’t need to be around them (I speak from experience on that). Seek support and medical attention right now if you haven’t already. Better days will come. Godspeed.

This is from the movie The Art of Travel. On their wedding day, Conner finds out that his fiance has been cheating on him with his best friend. His mother must’ve knew this, and before the scene presented, expresses that she doesn’t feel it is the best thing for him to get married. But Conner does not get mad. It’s not really understood how Conner found the picture of his best friend and fiance, but I found this scene to be awesome and hopefully, someday a classic. Instead of getting mad and upset about it, he takes revenge on girlfriend / fiance by presenting to both families why he wasn’t marrying his fiance: because she cheated on him. He continues on his own honeymoon, alone, and the adventure begins from there.
