my girlfriend and i broke up. we dated for a year and two months. over the past month or two, i know i have been getting on her nerves. Naturally, my jealousy comes into play sometimes and I know it got to the point where she was tired and frustrated of dealing with it. I have been really immature and I am fully aware that I have messed things up. I know that I am capable of improving and maturing and that if given a second opportunity, I could prove this to her.

Does anyone know how I should go about winning her back? Do I need to give it time and wait? I feel like if I do, she will slip away. But I also feel like talking to her regularly now will give her no space and wont allow her to think about things.
To be more specific, I have been too over protective without any reason to be that way. I care so much and it has manifested itself in immature and overprotective behavior that she is completely undeserving of. I have learned my lesson and would do anything to have an opportunity to make it work with her.

Wait a day or two, then I would just tell her the thing you just told us about how you’ve been "really immature and messed things up." Apologize and take the whole blame of it. Say how things will be different in the future. And do the whole spiel IN PERSON. Not over the phone or Facebook or anything like that.

My ex-boyfriend and I dated for five years. He broke up with me in March and three weeks afterward, he was engaged. When he was drunk, he told me that he got engaged to replace me. But when he was sober, he said that he did not have an explanation for getting engaged so quick. We did not talk from March until the middle of May. When we finally did start talking, he told me that he still loves me, his engagement is just a word, that he sometimes thinks of taking his fiancee’s ring back but not breaking up with her, he does not love his fiancee yet, that his fiancee really gets on his nerves, and that he misses me. However, he always says that it will be too hard to get us back. I don’t understand him. What do I have to do to make him see that we should try us all over again? Is it best if I ignore him for a little while to let him see what he’s been missing? Or should we stay in contact and I just wait it out? I know that if we stay in contact, he will never get over me. But if we stop talking, he might. I am so confused. Please help.

He sounds like a jerk. Just move on from him and find somebody better.

If you really want to win back your love, than you have to train in yourself a will, that you dont do some things, which push your ex more and more away from you.

And the very important thing is to give each other some time to calm down and to put some thoughts and emotions in order. I understand very well, that you miss your love, that you think, if you dont do something immediately, he or she will be gone forever. and so on.

That is why, you have to try to switch off your mind to something else. It is difficult, I know, but possible. And you have to do it. Dont contact your ex for two or three weeks. Let him breath a bit and calm down. It might happen, that he will call you by himself after some time.

Remember, as more you show the interest to your ex as less he wants to see and hear from you anymore. When he understands, that you can live without him, that you keep on smiling and meeting with friends, he gets very often a wish to contact you by himself.

You have to get your self-confidence. You have to look outstanding, better then ever. You should stop crying begging your ex to come back.

After pause of couple of weeks very carefully try to fix with him a short meeting to discuss some things. If he anyway resists, wish him all the best, dont show, that it makes you sad or angry and give it another pause. When he understands, that you came down, that you wont cry begging him to come back, then you have a chance that your ex will accept your proposal to meet with you. Keep it short first time, smile and dont dig too much into the past.

Okay so. My girlfriend has been pranking me like no other and its getting on my nerves. I gotta find a way to get her back but i dont know what to do. I love her to death and dont want to hurt her but i want to do something that says "Paybacks a Bich" Got any ideas?

Send pizza’s to her house.
Call her house at the very wee hours of the morning.
